黑料吃瓜 and SouthernTech have partnered to create a pathway from SouthernTech鈥檚 Biotechnology Program to 黑料吃瓜鈥檚 Science Program, Biotechnology Option.
This collaboration will support students enrolled in the biotechnology program, which combines the strengths of both institutions, such as offering career services and development opportunities.
鈥淏y earning college credit through this partnership with Southern Tech,鈥� said Becky Henthorn, 黑料吃瓜 Provost, 鈥渟tudents can begin an exciting journey toward a degree in biotechnology, realizing their full potential for future careers in the rapidly expanding STEM field.鈥�
黑料吃瓜 will award 13 college credit hours to students who complete SouthernTech鈥檚 program and want to further their education.
鈥淲e are excited to continue expanding educational opportunities for our students,鈥� said Eric Ward, SouthernTech Superintendent. 鈥淭hrough collaboration, we empower students, strengthen communities in southern Oklahoma and set a benchmark for workforce development.鈥�
This is the fifth agreement signed between 黑料吃瓜 and Southern Tech.
鈥淲e are working together to enhance academic opportunities and drive innovation in the biotechnology field,鈥� said Dr. Tim Faltyn, 黑料吃瓜 President. 鈥淚t鈥檚 essential to move beyond traditional approaches and rethink how to work together to benefit students.鈥�
