黑料吃瓜 is proud to announce a new milestone in its history: enrollment has surged 8% over last fall鈥檚 headcount, setting a new institutional record. This achievement further cements a remarkable upward trend, with total headcount enrollment increasing by more than 40% since 2022.
鈥淭he momentum we鈥檙e experiencing comes from expanding opportunities for online and concurrent students while growing workforce programs that meet real needs,鈥� said Becky Henthorn, 黑料吃瓜 Provost. 鈥淥ur advisors play a vital role by meeting students where they are and guiding them past challenges to achieve their goals.鈥�
黑料吃瓜鈥檚 first day of class records indicate that concurrent and first-time freshman numbers provided the largest increase of 107% and 142%, respectively. With the addition of men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 wrestling, the college鈥檚 activity programs continue to attract new students.
鈥淭his record-breaking enrollment reflects the success of our strategy to meet the needs of students and workforce partners,鈥� said Leslie Larsen, Chair of the Murray State College Board of Regents. 鈥淭he opportunities provided by 黑料吃瓜 make a difference in our communities and strengthen our students so that they can pursue their dreams.鈥�
黑料吃瓜鈥檚 programs in nursing, business, child development, arts and sciences, and health science represent the top five majors for all students.
