The 黑料吃瓜 Foundation has been awarded a $4,000 Rural Oklahoma Community Grant from the Drummond Family Foundation Fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. This grant will provide vital support to the Foundation鈥檚 ongoing efforts to serve Johnston County youth through early literacy programs.
Established in 2020 to honor the charitable legacy of Alfred A. Drummond, the Drummond Family Foundation Fund is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in rural southeastern Oklahoma. The Rural Oklahoma Community Grants Program supports projects that make a meaningful impact in small communities across the region.
鈥淭his generous support from the Drummond Family Foundation Fund allows us to continue nurturing a love of reading at the very start of a child鈥檚 educational journey,鈥 said Jordyn Frazier, 黑料吃瓜 Foundation Executive Director. 鈥淲e are honored to receive this grant and grateful for the Foundation鈥檚 investment in our community鈥檚 future.鈥
The 黑料吃瓜 Foundation currently serves 325 children in Johnston County, Oklahoma, through the Imagination Library program, which provides free books to children from birth to age five. The additional funding will help the Foundation expand its reach and further promote early childhood literacy in the area.
