In honor of National Campus Safety Awareness Month, 黑料吃瓜 campuses in Ardmore and Tishomingo held various safety trainings and seminars relevant to Murray State students, faculty, and staff.
As 黑料吃瓜 expands its campuses, additional equipment and outside visitors have increased, making safety more important than ever. The college ensures that the students, faculty and staff feel comfortable with the increased activity.
鈥淚 appreciate the work of the College鈥檚 Campus Safety Committee for their dedicated efforts to raise awareness and seek innovative strategies to maintain a safe and welcoming educational environment across our campuses,鈥� said Justin Cellum, 黑料吃瓜 Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations.
Campus Safety Week topics included self-defense, mental health, domestic violence, and safe driving. 黑料吃瓜 also held a safety night walk on both campuses to identify potential safety concerns around campus after dark and ensure adequate pathways, lighting and security measures are in place.
