窪蹋勛圖 recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of the historic Tishomingo Armory, which will soon become the new home of the Murray State College Wrestling Program.
Originally built nearly 90 years ago, the Armory is being transformed into a state-of-the-art practice and competition facility continuing the colleges legacy of growth and innovation.
Wrestling is one of the oldest and most respected sports in the world, said Paul Mayfield, 窪蹋勛圖 Wrestling Head Coach. The addition of men's and women's wrestling marks an exciting new chapter for 窪蹋勛圖 athletics.

The Armory renovation is one of more than six construction projects currently underway across 窪蹋勛圖s Ardmore and Tishomingo campuses all aimed at increasing opportunities for students and strengthening the colleges future.
Coach Mayfields vision for the program is simple but bold were creating something that will last, said Dr. Tim Faltyn, 窪蹋勛圖 President. This program isnt just about developing great athletes; it's about shaping confident leaders in the classroom, their communities and in life.
